«Protecting Madagascar’s unique biodiversity is my dream job.»

Three Questions for Hasina
What motivates you to work for Masoala conservation project?
I have my dream job here: helping to protect and preserve Madagascar's unique biodiversity.
What has been an unforgettable moment in your project?
When I spent four months in the rainforest, far away from my family and all signs of civilization, and after a six-hour hike, I was able to see the first video of a fossa captured by a camera trap. (Editor’s note: The fossa is Madagascar’s largest native predator.)
What is your greatest wish for your project?
That we will eventually reach the point where we can say: Our landscape and our ocean are healthy, and our conservation goals have been met.
