A First Look

Children's Volunteer Program

Be an animal caretaker for a day: Our children’s internship program offers a glimpse into the job.

Cleaning out the enclosures, cleaning up, and preparing food: Children ages 8 and up have the opportunity every weekend to help the animal caretakers at Zoolino.

The children’s volunteer program at Zoolino takes place every Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. for children ages 8 and up. Under the guidance of our animal caretakers, the children help care for the animals at Zoolino.

Children must have a valid admission ticket to the zoo and must have private accident insurance (medical expenses covered by the general plan through their health insurance provider). Please note that, in some cases, operational reasons may require us to cancel the children’s volunteer program on short notice.

The meeting point is by the big tractor at Zoolino. Please make sure your children are wearing sturdy shoes and appropriate clothing.

Registration

Please register your child via the online registration form. Places are limited. Registration opens five days before the event: for Saturday events, on the Monday; for Sunday events, on the Tuesday.

Only one child may be registered per registration form. A separate registration is required for each additional child.
