Information panels provide insights from both zoological and psychological perspectives. During a discussion, you’ll explore the topic of spiders and prepare together for your encounter with the animals. Afterward, you’ll have the opportunity to discuss your experience as a group and reflect on your feelings. You’ll receive a certificate confirming your participation in the seminar.
Instructors
Dr. Samuel Furrer, a biologist and spider expert, and André Angstmann, a certified psychologist (IAP), will guide you in exploring the nature of spiders, their habitats, and their habits. They’ll help you overcome your preconceptions and enable you to get closer to these animals—if you’re comfortable doing so.
Note
You can also sign up for this course at the visitor center near the main entrance.
