Tour topics

Tour Times

You can book our guided tours for private groups daily at the following times:

  • General: 9 a.m.–8 p.m.

  • Masoala Rainforest: 10 a.m.–8 p.m.

There are exceptions to these leadership topics:

  • “Elephants at Kaeng Krachan”: Mon–Wed 9 a.m.–8 p.m., Thu–Sat 9 a.m.–zoo closing time, Sun 9 a.m.–12 p.m. and after zoo closing time until 8 p.m.

  • “Masoala Rainforest”: Mon–Wed 10 a.m.–8 p.m., Thu–Sat 10 a.m.–zoo closing time, Sun 9 a.m.–12 p.m. and after zoo closing time until 8 p.m.

  • On Sundays, guided tours are only available in the morning and after the zoo closes.

Guided tours are generally available in German and English; French and Italian are available upon request.

Tour prices

(Adults: aged 18 and over; young people: aged 13 to 17; children: aged 6 to 12. Prices in CHF and incl. VAT.)

Children’s tours

Biodiversity, Evolution, Lewa Savanna, Masoala Rainforest, Panthera, Records in the Animal Kingdom, Animal Husbandry at the Zoo, The Tropical Rainforest in Everyday Life and the General Zoo Tour are also available as tours for children. Age information can be found in the topic overview.

Request a tour

We need some lead time to assign a zoo guide. Tours must therefore be booked at least 14 days before the event. After this deadline, we can only accept your request provisionally.
