Habitat at the Zoo
Lewa Savanna
The Lewa Savanna is one of the main habitats at Zoo Zurich. It is closely linked to the Lewa conservation project.
Covering 5.6 hectares, the Lewa Savanna is the largest habitat at Zoo Zurich in terms of area. Its most distinctive features are the spacious outdoor enclosures for giraffes, rhinos, and other endangered animals, as well as the striking baobab trees.
