Through our four main areas of focus—habitat conservation, species conservation, education, and research—we contribute to the preservation of biodiversity. We fund the construction of our new habitats through donations, just as we do for our nature conservation projects around the world. With your memorial donation, you support our work on behalf of the deceased.
How Memorial Donations Work

Contact us via the form, by phone or email and let us know about the planned donation.

Include the donation request in the funeral announcement, for example: “Instead of flowers, in accordance with the wishes of the deceased, we kindly ask for a donation to Zoo Zurich: ZKB, IBAN CH08 0070 0110 0002 4616 8, reference ‘in memory of’.”

After one month, we will send you a statement of the donations received.

Your donation to us goes entirely toward the cause you have chosen; we do not use donations to cover operating costs. You can claim the donation as a tax deduction.
