Available online or at the ticket desks at the main entrance and in the Guest Centre.

Age limit

Children under the age of 6 may only participate in the porcupine feeding when accompanied by an adult.

More Information

Feeding takes place under professional supervision and with the help of the Zoo Zurich volunteer team. We’re also happy to answer any questions you may have about the porcupines and other animals of the Lewa Savanna.

Conservation Donation

All proceeds from the porcupine feeding go entirely to our Lewa conservation project in Kenya.

Event Status

For animal welfare reasons, we cannot always guarantee that the experience will take place. We decide by 9 a.m. each day whether it will go ahead. If you have booked a ticket for a cancelled experience, we will inform you directly. Please note that tickets cannot be refunded if the experience is cancelled.
